In 2013 Clio released her first record Gladys via Universal Music that charted at #11 in the German album charts. The singles „I Couldn‘t Care Less“ and “Told You So” became instant airplay hits and earned her a nomination for an „ECHO“ Award in the category „Best Female Artist National“. Following the success of her first album, Clio released her second record “Eureka” (Universal Music) in spring 2015, its first single “My Heart Ain’t That Broken” became another top 40 airplay song and has exceeded almost 22 million streams on Spotify by now. In 2017 a critically high acclaimed album and two Ep’s followed. In 2018 she was part of the cast of Germany’s television series “Sing meinen Song”, followed by another album in 2019. In 2020 she founded her own and germany’s first all women led label House Of Clio and released her 5th Studioalbum Brave New Woman. Leslie has been an animal rights activist for more than a decade, two Peta campaigns have been released in 2021. KID CLIO, her children’s music project, released its first album in October 21, followed by a Disney Campaign where she translated and sung the german Version. She won the Spa Award for Beauty Idol 2022 and was a finalist at The Masked Singer Germany the same year. In 2023 she opened the Berlinale and supported Lionel Richie on tour. In 2024 she won Best Song at the Children Cinema Awards.
