In 2013 Leslie Clio released her first record "Gladys", a retro soul pop record which got her signed to Universal Music and charted at #11 in the German album charts. The singles „I Couldn't Care Less" and "Told You So" became instant airplay hits and earned her a nomination for an „ECHO" Award in the category "Best Female Artist National". Following the success of her first album, Leslie Clio released her second record "Eureka" (Universal Music) in spring 2015. The first single "My Heart Ain't That Broken" became another top 50 airplay song and has exceeded almost 22 million streams on Spotify by now. Her third, critically high acclaimed record "Purple" was released May 2017, another acoustic EP followed. In 2018 she was part of the cast of Germany's television series "Sing meinen Song". In June 2019 she released "Repeat", an EP with cover songs. In 2020 she started her own label House Of Clio with an all women team. Leslie has been a vegan animal rights activist for years, two Peta campaigns have been released in 2021 alone. Her first album as KID CLIO, her children's music project, was released in October 21, followed by her 4th album Brave New Woman released in February 2022. In 2022 she was also a finalist at The Masked Singer Germany. In 2023 she was the opening act for Berlinale and supported Lionel Richie.
